Planning eye care in Mexico from abroad

Documented practice locations in Guadalajara, Zapopan and Tijuana

This page gathers the practical information documented on this website for patients who live outside Mexico and are considering an assessment with Dr. Francisco Malé Valle at the Institute of Integrated Ophthalmology. Every clinical decision is made after an in-person assessment.

Before you book travel

  • Do not book flights before your appointment date is confirmed.
  • Ask in writing which location will attend your case.
  • Bring previous studies and prescriptions to your first visit.

Step by step

How scheduling works from abroad

1. Contact before traveling

Start by WhatsApp from your country of residence. Describe your eye condition and ask which location and date are available for your case.

2. Confirm date and location

Appointments are scheduled at one of the documented practice locations. Confirm the exact clinic, date and time before booking any travel.

3. In-person assessment

The first visit is an in-person ophthalmic assessment. The diagnosis and treatment plan are defined after this evaluation, not before.

4. Treatment and follow-up

If surgery is indicated, the plan and its postoperative follow-up are explained during the assessment, including who performs each stage.
